No Abortion Coverage for Medicaid Act

This bill would stop the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from approving special Medicaid projects that use federal money to pay for abortions or health plans that cover abortions, including travel or lodging costs. The bill would not apply to abortions in cases of rape or incest, when the mother's life is in danger, or for treating miscarriages or ectopic pregnancies.
