Teleabortion Prevention Act of 2025

This bill creates new rules for doctors who prescribe abortion pills. It requires doctors to examine the patient in person, be physically present when the patient takes the medication, and schedule a follow-up visit. The rules don't apply if the abortion is needed to save the mother's life due to a serious health condition. Doctors who don't follow these rules could be fined or sent to prison for up to two years, but patients cannot be prosecuted.
