SAVE America Act

This bill would require people to show documents proving they are U.S. citizens when they register to vote in federal elections. It also requires voters to show photo ID when they vote. States would have to check their voter lists to make sure only U.S. citizens are registered and remove anyone who is not a citizen. People voting by mail would need to include copies of their ID with their ballot request and when they submit their ballot.
