Protecting Rural Telehealth Access Act

This bill makes permanent changes to Medicare so that people can use telehealth services from anywhere, including their own homes, without being limited by where they live. It also allows certain health centers and rural clinics to be the location where doctors or other health care providers deliver care through telehealth. In addition, the bill lets Medicare cover phone-only appointments (without video) for check-ups and mental health services.
