United States-Cuba Trade Act of 2026

This bill would end the trade embargo on Cuba, removing restrictions on trade, travel, and sending money to Cuba. It would treat Cuban products the same as products from other countries the U.S. trades with normally and allow phone and communication services between the two countries. The bill also says the President should work with Cuba to settle disputes over property that was taken from Americans and to push for the protection of human rights. The President would still be allowed to put new export controls on Cuba or use emergency powers if needed.
