American Battlefield Protection Program Amendments Act of 2026

This bill extends three grant programs run by the National Park Service that help preserve, restore, and modernize U.S. battlefields, pushing their funding authorization from 2028 out to 2036. It also requires the National Park Service to study locations connected to important events during the French and Indian War and the Mexican-American War to see if those sites should be preserved.
