SOS: Sustaining Outpatient Services Act

This bill changes how Medicare pays for certain medical services provided at hospital outpatient locations that are not on the main hospital campus. Right now, some of these off-campus locations may not get paid under the standard hospital outpatient payment system, but this bill would allow that payment for items and services where payments to specialist doctors under Medicare's regular physician payment system were no more than $2 million in the previous year.
