Specialty CROP Act of 2026

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to include more detailed information in its yearly report about U.S. specialty crop exports, such as fruits and vegetables. Specifically, the report must describe actions and policies by other countries that make it harder for U.S. specialty crops to compete in foreign markets. The Department of Agriculture must work with the U.S. Trade Representative and gather input from the public and an advisory committee before putting the report together. The report must be submitted to Congress in a form that is not classified and made available to the public, though a classified section may be attached.
