Closing the College Hunger Gap Act

This bill requires the Department of Education to send information about food stamp eligibility to certain college students. The department must contact students who fill out financial aid forms and have very low expected family contributions for college costs. These students will receive written and electronic information about the food stamp program and contact details for their state's food stamp office. The Department of Education will work with other government agencies to create these communications.
