Interstate Milk Freedom Act of 2026

This bill would stop the federal government from regulating the sale or transport of raw (unpasteurized) milk and milk products between states, as long as certain conditions are met. The milk must be legal to sell for drinking in both the state it comes from and the state it's being sent to, and it must follow the laws of the state where it was produced and packaged. Basically, if both states allow people to buy and drink raw milk, the federal government could not block it from being shipped between those states just because it hasn't been pasteurized.
