Freedom from Mandates Act

This bill would cancel two executive orders about COVID-19 safety for federal contractors and federal employees. It would stop the Department of Labor from making rules that require employers to mandate COVID-19 vaccines or testing for unvaccinated workers. The bill would also prevent the Department of Health and Human Services from requiring healthcare providers in Medicare and Medicaid programs to mandate employee COVID-19 vaccines or testing, and would stop HHS from penalizing providers who don't require these measures.
