Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act

This bill creates a way for copyright owners to ask federal courts to block access to foreign websites that illegally share copyrighted content. Copyright owners would need to prove to a court that a foreign website is likely stealing their copyrighted work and that this theft will cause them serious harm. If the court agrees, it can order internet service providers to block their customers from accessing those foreign websites. The bill also protects internet service providers from being sued for following these court orders.
