Export Dispute Resolution Act

This bill changes how the government handles disagreements between agencies when deciding whether to approve licenses for exporting certain goods. It says that a group called the Operating Committee for Export Policy, which is part of the Department of Commerce, must settle these disagreements by majority vote, including in cases involving countries that the U.S. has placed full arms embargoes on. If the group cannot reach a majority decision, the committee's chair is allowed to make the final call.
