Ultrasounds Save Lives Act of 2025

This bill says that before a doctor can perform an abortion, they must first do an ultrasound and share the results with the woman. The doctor must also give the woman a form at least 24 hours before the procedure that includes information about how far along the pregnancy is, developmental details, and medical risks of the abortion. The woman must sign the form in person with a witness, and the form stays in her medical file. These rules do not apply if following them would put the woman's life or physical health at serious risk, and doctors who don't follow the rules could face civil penalties.
