STOP Nitazenes Act

This bill would permanently add a group of drugs called nitazenes to the strictest category of controlled substances under federal law. Nitazenes are lab-made opioids that can be as strong as or even stronger than fentanyl. By placing them in this category, the drugs would be classified as having a high chance of being abused, no accepted medical use, and would be subject to legal penalties and government oversight.
