Kira Johnson Act

This bill creates several grant programs aimed at improving health outcomes for mothers, especially among groups that experience higher rates of death or health problems during or after pregnancy. It provides funding for community programs, training for health care workers on reducing racism and bias in maternity care, and programs in hospitals to identify and address discrimination in how mothers are treated.
