Taxpayer Funds Oversight and Accountability Act

This bill requires the Office of Management and Budget to create a four-year plan for improving how the federal government manages its money and to submit that plan to Congress, along with yearly progress updates. It also gives Chief Financial Officers at federal agencies more responsibilities, including putting the governmentwide plan into action at their agencies, overseeing budgets and financial systems, managing risks, and reporting on their progress to agency leaders, Congress, and government watchdogs.
