Strengthening the Vaccines for Children Program Act of 2026

This bill makes changes to a program that gives free vaccines to certain children, including those without insurance, those on Medicaid, and American Indian or Alaskan Native children. It expands the program so that children covered by the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) can also get free vaccines. The bill also requires that doctors and providers who give vaccines to kids on Medicaid or CHIP get paid at least as much as they would under Medicare, and it increases federal funding for states that do outreach to different communities about the benefits of childhood vaccinations.
