SAD Act

This bill makes it illegal to mislead people in advertisements about reproductive health services. It specifically prohibits falsely advertising that you provide birth control or abortion services when you don't, or claiming you have licensed medical staff when you don't. The Federal Trade Commission would enforce these rules, and violations could result in fines of up to $100,000 or half of the violating organization's revenue from the previous year, whichever is higher.
