Housing Innovation Act

This bill creates a new Office of Housing Innovation inside the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The office would give out grants for three things: helping cities plan for housing needs, doing research to help local governments make housing and community development plans, and running programs to teach people about housing and planning issues. The Government Accountability Office would have to write a report about how well these grant programs work.
