UNLEADED Act

This bill requires the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to create and share an education program about new unleaded aviation fuel that has been approved for use in aircraft. The FAA must post this information online for pilots, flight schools, airport managers, maintenance workers, and others in the general aviation community. The bill also requires the FAA to provide yearly training for staff at fixed-base operators (businesses that service aircraft at airports) so they understand the differences between fuel types and how unleaded fuel affects airplanes. Additionally, the FAA must regularly update Congress on how the education program is going.
