Informing Consumers about Smart Devices Act

This bill requires companies that make internet-connected devices with cameras or microphones to tell customers before they buy the device that it has a camera or microphone. This rule applies to devices like smart appliances, but not to phones, laptops, or other devices where people would already expect to find cameras or microphones.
