SAFE through Medicare Act

This bill would allow Medicare to pay for certain services and equipment that help keep people safe during disasters, whether caused by climate events or by humans. It would cover things like heat pumps, batteries for medical equipment, and energy-efficient storage for medical supplies for Medicare beneficiaries who are considered medically at risk during such disasters. These are called "home resiliency services" because they help people stay safe and maintain their medical needs at home during emergencies.
