Medical Innovation Acceleration Act of 2025

This bill would remove certain medical devices from FDA oversight. The devices that would no longer need FDA approval are called "noninvasive diagnostic devices." These are medical devices that don't break the skin, aren't put inside the body, only cause brief pressure or temperature changes to body tissues, and don't use ionizing radiation.
