American CANS Act

This bill changes the rules for labeling where canned food comes from. Currently, products from other countries must show their country of origin somewhere on the package. This bill requires that any agricultural product in a can must show its country of origin either on the front label of the can or stamped, embossed, or printed on the top of the can.
