Protecting Taxpayers from Student Loan Bailouts Act

This bill would stop the Department of Education from making new rules or taking actions related to federal student loans if those changes would cost $100 million or more per year or significantly affect the economy. The bill also blocks the Department from making changes that would increase the cost of student loan programs to taxpayers.
