Saving Seniors Money on Prescriptions Act

This bill creates new rules for companies called pharmacy benefit managers that help manage prescription drug coverage in Medicare. These companies must share more information about drug prices and costs, including details about how they measure their performance and lists of drugs they dispensed with related cost data. Medicare drug plans can check to make sure these companies follow the rules, and the companies can be fined if they don't comply. The bill also requires a government study on reporting requirements for prescription drug prices.
