Less Bureaucracy, Better Workforce Development Act

This bill moves certain education and job training programs from the Department of Education to the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration. The programs being moved include adult education, family literacy, and career and technical education programs. The bill also moves the workers and funding tied to those programs, but it requires that the total number of employees across both departments does not go up as a result. Any ongoing legal cases or pending applications for benefits or services related to these programs would not be affected by the transfer.
