Enhancing K–12 Cybersecurity Act

This bill creates new tools to help protect elementary and secondary schools from cyber attacks. It tells the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to set up a way to share helpful information, training, and tips with schools to improve their cybersecurity. It also requires CISA to create a system for tracking cyber incidents that affect school computer systems, which schools can choose to report to voluntarily. Finally, CISA must set up a program specifically focused on dealing with cybersecurity threats to school computer systems.
