HEALTH Act

This resolution creates a new standing committee in the House of Representatives called the Committee on Health. This new committee would handle all bills and matters related to medical research and development, health care paid for by government money, and public health issues. The resolution also takes these responsibilities away from two existing committees that currently handle health-related topics.
