What this bill does
AI plain-language summaryThis resolution sets up the rules for the House of Representatives to debate and vote on two specific bills. The first bill would change energy conservation rules so that the Secretary of Energy cannot set new energy-saving standards for products unless those standards are technically possible and make economic sense. The second bill would get rid of certain government subsidies that help people switch their homes to electric-powered systems.
