Supporting the goals and ideals of "Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism Awareness Month".

This resolution shows support for a month dedicated to raising awareness about deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Deep vein thrombosis happens when a blood clot forms in a deep vein in the body, and a pulmonary embolism occurs when that clot breaks loose and gets stuck in the lung, which can be life-threatening.
