Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 185) to advance responsible policies.

This resolution sets up the rules for the House to consider and change H.R. 185. It creates a new budget rule that would make it harder to pass certain types of budget bills in either the House or Senate. Specifically, it would block budget reconciliation bills that reduce Medicaid enrollment or benefits, or that reduce eligibility or benefits for the SNAP food assistance program. This rule would last until January 20, 2029.
