Finding Federal Savings Committee Resolution

This resolution creates a new House committee called the Committee on the Elimination of Nonessential Federal Programs. The committee's job is to look at federal programs that are not working well or are not needed and suggest ways to change or get rid of them. The resolution also sets up faster procedures for passing laws that eliminate programs or take away their funding. The committee will stop existing at the end of the 120th Congress.
