Expressing support for the designation of the week of August 25 through August 31, 2025, as "Black Breastfeeding Week".

This resolution acknowledges that systemic and institutional racism has made it harder for Black women to follow breastfeeding guidelines. It also recognizes that these barriers caused by racism lead to differences in health outcomes and points to policies that could help reduce those barriers.
