RESPECT Resolution

This resolution encourages state and local governments to take steps to make the cannabis (marijuana) business more fair and to fix the harm that drug enforcement has caused to communities of color. It also says that the President should push for cannabis to be treated as a legal product at the United Nations and the Commission on Narcotic Drugs. The resolution does not create any new laws but expresses the opinion of the House of Representatives on these issues.
