Overturn Biden’s Offshore Energy Ban Act

This bill cancels two orders issued by President Biden on January 6, 2025, that blocked new oil and gas drilling leases in certain ocean areas, including parts of the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Bering Sea. Those orders had stopped the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management from allowing companies to explore for or produce oil and natural gas in those areas. This bill would reverse those restrictions and allow the government to once again issue drilling leases in those ocean areas.
