Rebuild America’s Health Care Schools Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules for how hospitals get paid back by Medicare for training nursing and allied health students. Right now, if a hospital helps train students from an outside program, the training usually has to happen at the hospital itself for the hospital to get reimbursed. This bill would also let hospitals get reimbursed when that training happens at a location that the hospital owns or controls, even if it's not at the hospital. The bill also says the government cannot take back payments from hospitals for these kinds of costs and must return any money it already took back during the six years before the bill becomes law.
