Ensuring Veterans’ Final Resting Place Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules so that veterans or their families who receive an urn or commemorative plaque from the Department of Veterans Affairs can still get a headstone, marker, or other burial benefits like being buried in a national cemetery. Right now, if someone asks for an urn or plaque, they give up their right to those other burial benefits. The bill would let them receive both.
