Inaugural Committee Transparency Act of 2025

This bill would require the committee that organizes a presidential inauguration to report to the Federal Election Commission how it spends its money, including any payment of $200 or more, who received the payment, and what it was for. The bill would ban the committee from asking for or receiving money from foreign nationals, stop people from donating in someone else's name, and prevent anyone from using inauguration donations for personal purposes. Any leftover money would need to be given to charitable organizations within 90 days after the inauguration, unless the committee asks for more time.
