VETS Opportunity Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules for veterans who use their education benefits to take independent study programs. It says that independent study programs leading to a graduation certificate must include regular and meaningful interaction between students and teachers. It also allows these programs to be offered by any approved college or university, including for-profit schools, as long as they are approved to participate in the Department of Education's financial aid programs.
