Servicewomen and Veterans Menopause Research Act

This bill requires the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs to work together to study menopause and perimenopause among women who serve or have served in the military and other uniformed services. They must look at what is not yet known about how military service relates to menopause, whether doctors working for these agencies are properly trained in mid-life women's health, and whether treatments are available and being used by servicewomen and veterans. The agencies must also put together a plan to fill in the gaps in knowledge and research on these topics.
