BUMP Act

This bill makes it illegal to import, sell, make, give away, receive, or own devices like bump stocks that are designed to make a semiautomatic gun fire faster. It also covers any parts or modifications that make a semiautomatic firearm shoot at a rate close to that of a machine gun. On top of that, the bill adds semiautomatic guns that have been modified to fire much faster to the list of firearms that are regulated under an existing law called the National Firearms Act.
