Organic Science and Research Investment Act of 2025

This bill increases the Department of Agriculture's support for research on organic farming. It creates a new initiative to coordinate and expand organic research across USDA, requiring a report every five years with recommendations on how to improve that research, and it renews and increases funding for existing organic agriculture research and data programs through 2030. The bill also allows grant funding for projects that look at traditional farming knowledge, how organic agriculture relates to climate change, and how farmers can transition from conventional to organic farming. Additionally, it requires a study on the economic impact of organic farming.
