FASD Respect Act

This bill renews and updates programs run by the Department of Health and Human Services that deal with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), which are conditions that can affect a baby when exposed to alcohol before birth. It covers both educational and research programs related to FASD. The bill also creates new FASD Centers for Excellence, which would work on preventing FASD through things like screenings, public awareness campaigns, and training programs, especially at the state and local levels.
