Veterans First Act of 2025

This bill takes away $2 billion in unused money that was given to the U.S. Agency for International Development and moves that same amount to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The $2 billion would go toward grants to help states build, buy, or update nursing homes and care facilities for veterans.
