Farm to Fly Act of 2025

This bill tells the Department of Agriculture (USDA) to support the development of sustainable aviation fuels — liquid fuels for airplanes that produce at least 50% less greenhouse gas emissions than regular jet fuel. It does this by adding sustainable aviation fuel to existing USDA programs that already help with renewable energy projects, including programs that assist with building facilities that make biofuels and similar products. The bill also requires USDA to work across all of its departments to find ways to grow the production and sale of these fuels, support rural economic development, and build partnerships between the government and private companies.
