Dismantle Iran’s Proxy Act of 2025

This bill requires the President to officially label Ansarallah, also known as the Houthis, an Iran-backed group in Yemen, as a foreign terrorist organization. This label would allow the government to block financial transactions connected to the group. The President would also have to put sanctions on the group and its members, report to Congress on whether certain individuals are connected to the group, and create a plan to weaken the group's military abilities and protect shipping routes in the Red Sea area.
