Protecting Children with Food Allergies Act of 2025

This bill would require school cafeteria workers who are part of the National School Lunch Program to get yearly training and certification on food allergies. The training would cover how to prevent, recognize, and respond to allergic reactions related to food. Right now, these workers are already required to be trained on nutrition and health and food safety, and this bill would add food allergy training to that list. The bill also says that cafeteria workers must show they understand the training as part of their certification.
