Cleaner Air Spaces Act of 2025

This bill would have the Environmental Protection Agency give grants to agencies that handle air pollution, including at least one tribal agency, to set up programs that help people breathe cleaner air during wildfire smoke events. These programs would be in areas where people are at risk of being exposed to wildfire smoke and would provide things like educational materials, public buildings with special clean air rooms, and air filtration units for certain households. The agencies receiving the grants would also be required to work with at least one community-based organization to carry out these programs.
